World Clock & Meeting Planner

See the current time across time zones and find working hours that overlap for a meeting.

Keep an eye on the current time in cities around the world, and find the hours when everyone is at work so you can schedule a meeting. Two views: Clock shows a live card for each time zone; Meeting overlap lays them out hour by hour and highlights the hours that suit everyone.

How it works

Times come from your device's clock and your browser's built-in time-zone database, so daylight saving changes are handled for you, including zones whose offset is not a whole hour (such as India at GMT+5:30 or Nepal at GMT+5:45).

The Meeting overlap grid covers today's 24 hours, starting at midnight in your own time zone. Each column is one hour of your day, and each cell shows what the clock reads in that row's zone at that moment. A cell is “in working hours” when that local time falls within the working hours you set, which apply to every zone's own local clock. An hour is green when every zone in the list is in working hours at once.

Your list of zones, any names you give them, and your appearance choices are remembered in this browser.

How to use it

Under Add a time zone, search for a city or region, choose it, and click Add. Repeat for each place.
In Clock view, read each city's time, date, and UTC offset. Click a name to rename it.
For scheduling, switch to Meeting overlap, set Working hours start and end, and read the green banner or the green columns.
Click × on a zone to remove it. Use the fullscreen button to show the clocks on a big display.

Options & controls

View

Clock / Meeting overlap: Switches between live clock cards and the hour-by-hour planner. The list of zones is shared between the two.

Adding zones

Add a time zone: A searchable list of every time zone your browser knows, named by city or region (for example “Asia/Kolkata”, shown as “Asia/Kolkata” and “America/New York”). Type to filter it, then click a result.
Add: Adds the chosen zone to the bottom of the list. It is disabled until you choose one, and a zone already in the list is not added twice.
Or add by UTC offset: A shortcut when you know the offset but not the city: choose an offset such as “GMT+5:30” (the list shows the offsets in use right now), then choose one of the zones at that offset in Zone at GMT+…, and click Add. Only the named zone is saved, never the fixed offset, so daylight saving continues to be applied correctly.
Your own zone: Your device's time zone is added automatically the first time you open the tool and is marked with a Local badge. If you remove it, it is added back the next time you open the page.

Clock view

Zone card: Shows the zone's name, its Local badge (if it is yours), the date there (e.g. “Sun, Sep 20”), its UTC offset (e.g. “GMT+5:30”), and the time with seconds.
DST on / DST off badge: Shown only for zones that observe daylight saving time. The sun icon and “DST on” mean the zone is on summer time right now; “DST off” means standard time.
Name (click to rename): Click a zone's name to give it your own label, such as “Head office” or “Mum”. Enter or clicking away saves; Escape cancels. Clearing the box, or typing the original name, restores the default. Renaming works in Clock view only.
Remove (×): Removes that zone and its custom name.
Customize clock (palette button): Opens the appearance panel, described below.
Fullscreen (button): Shows all the clocks at the largest size that fits your screen, in a grid. Press Escape or the button at the top right to leave. Available once at least one zone is added.

Customize clock panel

Face: Digital shows the time as numbers. Analog shows a small round clock face beside the name in the list, and a larger one in fullscreen.
Background: Solid gives plain cards; Gradient tints each card in the accent colour.
Clock format: 12h shows AM/PM; 24h uses the 24-hour clock. Also applies to fullscreen.
Accent: Six colours (Slate, Sky, Emerald, Amber, Rose, Violet) for the time and the analog hands.
Reset to default: Restores digital, solid, 12-hour and the Slate accent.

Meeting overlap view

Working hours start / end: Times of day, default 09:00 to 17:00, applied in each zone's own local time. A window that runs past midnight (such as 22:00 to 06:00) works. If start and end are the same, every hour counts as working time.
Summary banner: A green banner lists the ranges that work for everyone, in your local time (for example “9 AM–11 AM works for everyone (Europe/London time)”), or says “All day”. If there is no overlap it says “No hours today have all selected zones in their working hours — try widening the window.” With only one zone it simply repeats the hours.
Hour columns: 24 columns, labelled in your local time, from 12 AM to 11 PM. The current hour has an outline. Green-headed columns are the overlap.
Zone rows: Each row shows that zone's local time at each column's moment. Green cells are inside everyone's working hours, blue cells are working hours for that zone only, and grey cells are outside them. The zone name stays in view while the grid scrolls sideways, and × removes a zone.

Tips & guidelines

Put the hours you can offer in the working-hours boxes rather than the official hours; the overlap then shows realistic meeting slots.
If there is no green hour, widen the window — for example 08:00 to 19:00 — or plan to alternate whose evening or morning takes the strain.
The grid is for today. Around a daylight-saving change, or when a meeting is on another date, offsets may differ from what is shown, so double-check the zone offsets on the day.
To share the result, note the time in each person's zone: read across the green column.
For fullscreen on a spare screen, choose Analog or a bold accent and 24h if your team uses it.

Limits

The planner only covers today. You cannot choose another date.
Times are shown in English, and dates in the “Sun, Sep 20” style.
There is no calendar invite, no sharing link, and no export.
Meeting overlap uses whole hours starting on the hour in your local zone; for zones with half-hour offsets, the times in the grid show the real local minutes.
The list of zones comes from your browser. A very old browser may not offer the full list.

Saved in your browser

Your list of zones, any custom names you gave them, and your appearance choices are saved in this browser's local storage so they are there next time. Nothing is sent anywhere. Remove a zone with × to delete it, or clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything.
